Do you know how your shoes were made? Do you know if toxic chemicals and exploitation of workers are stuck to your shoes? Nobody knows.

Citizens all over Europe are marching to Brussels and demanding more transparency in the shoe supply chain. You can join us with the app CHANGE YOUR SHOES. We have the right to know how our shoes are made.

Record your steps and donate them for the virtual march to Brussels. CHANGE YOUR SHOES is an app, bringing together steps collected all over Europe. See how many steps you take in your daily life and have a look how far we all come together in Europe. Create your own walking group and conquer the distance to Brussels together. There are 59,000,000 steps to take until we reach Brussels. Walk locally, act globally (Let´s go!) - every step you contribute brings us closer to Brussels and strengthens our demand.

What do we mean by transparency? We demand that the EU introduces legislation requiring shoe manufacturers and retailers to inform consumers in an easy and accessible way about the conditions in which their shoes were produced and what toxic content they may contain.

What happens when we reach Brussels? When we arrive in Brussels, a handover event will be organised to present the demand for greater transparency to the relevant EU policy makers.
